Slow-growing, rounded shrub or small tree with a simple or branched stem and densely arranged, linear to narrowly lance-shaped, toothed, dark green leaves, up to 50cm long, each ending in a sharp, stiff point. From summer to autumn, bears stout, erect panicles up to 45cm long, pendent, bell-shaped, white, sometimes purple-tinged flowers, 3cm long, held above the foliage. Outdoors, Yucca grows in any well-drained soil in full sun. |
