Widely spreading succulent with prostrate stems, rooting at intervals along their length; sickle-shaped, slightly curved, dull, gray-green leaves. Numerous, daisy-like yellow flowers, opening after noon and turning pinkish later in the day, are borne from late spring to early autumn. Produces edible, fig-like brown fruit.
