Vigorous evergreen shrub with clusters of yellow flowers, with protruding 4 to 5 inch long, red stamens. Soil should be kept moist during establishment. Later prefer infrequent, deep watering. Little pruning is required. Spring fertilization is recommended. Full sun produces best growth and flowering results. Very attractive to hummingbirds.
